MARISSA
Introducing our new Director, Marissa! She’s a two year veteran and ready to lead the team! Marissa was born and raised in Detroit and next month will be her “Jerseyversary”, celebrating 10 years of being a Newark resident. Off the field, you can catch her designing clothes and shoes or working on her acting chops and modeling. After dancing for 25 years, Marissa is prepared to take her talents to the pros one day as an NFL cheerleader. 💕
SECOND YEAR DANCE TEAM / DIRECTORNEEYA
She’s a two year veteran and excited to kick off this season. Neeya was born and raised in Jersey. She is grateful for our team that not only values your craft but, appreciates you as a dancer. Aside from dancing, you can catch Neeya in her classroom inspiring and teaching infants to 5 year olds.👩🏽🍼Additionally, Neeya is growing her brand in singing, rapping, and songwriting.
SECOND YEAR DANCE TEAM / CAPTAINMeet our rookie, Naziya! She was born and raised in New Jersey. Naziya just graduated from Cicely L. Tyson High School this spring! She was on the Jagetts Majorette dance team for the East Orange Jaguars Marching Band her junior and senior year.
Naziya has an extensive dance background and she’s only been performing for 9 years! She’s done everything from competitive and high school cheer to every dance style you can think of. Her favorite style is Contemporary. Outside of the Sharks, you can find Naziya helping out at different community events, working on her craft, and spending time with family and friends. 📣💖

This is Jewzell, affectionally known as Zelly! She’s a seasoned vet for the Sharks Dance Team🦈.
If you could only do one dance style for the rest of your life, what would it be? “If I could do one dance for the rest of my life, it will probably be hip hop or some type of hardcore, fast footwork style of dance. Not only is it fun to just feel like you’re going crazy but coordinated, it’s a workout. It helps keep you active and in shape, and it gets your blood pumping. That’s what I feel when it comes to dance and that’s what I love to do!”

CITLALLY
Meet our rookie, Citlally! Citlally hails from Brooklyn, NY and currently living in Rahway, NJ. She started dancing her senior year of high school. Citlally was on the St. Francis College Dance Team, where she became Captain her senior year.
Today, Citlally is currently an MS2 at Columbia University’s Occupational Therapy Masters Program. Outside of school and the Sharks, she currently on her 2nd season with The Bees Knees team at The Hive Dance Studio. Her favorite dance styles are Hip-Hop and R&B.
